About the Moses West Foundation

The Moses West Foundation is a registered 509(a)(2) (EIN:85-2028514) non-profit foundation focused on providing clean, sustainable water solutions worldwide through the innovative use of Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) technology. We are dedicated to deploying these systems in regions facing severe water scarcity, enhancing global access to potable water.

We prioritize regions critically needing water due to injustice, scarcity, pollution, or disaster-related disruptions. Our choice is driven by the intensity of the need and the potential impact that our AWG technology can achieve in improving local living conditions.

The Moses West Foundation has successfully provided over 5 million gallons of clean water through our water projects. We have had the fortune to assist in impacting communities in regions such as Puerto Rico, Michigan, Texas, Mississippi, and Internationally. Our projects aim to address immediate water needs and contribute to long-term sustainability and resilience in these communities through regional community engagement and support.

Moses West built his first large-scale atmospheric water generator in 2014, pioneering the innovation of this technology for humanitarian use. Since 2015, he has dedicated his efforts to deploying these systems to provide clean, sustainable water to disaster-stricken and underserved regions worldwide.

Through The Moses West Foundation, his innovative approach continues to support communities by enhancing access to safe drinking water, thus fostering resilience and sustainability.

We welcome support through donations, full unit deployments, partnerships, and volunteer engagements. Each contribution helps us extend our reach and enhance our impact on global water scarcity.

The Foundation has implemented projects globally across diverse climates and settings, from urban centers in the United States to Coastal Cities. Each project is tailored to meet the community’s specific needs to achieve the most impact as quickly as possible.

We prioritize deployments in underprivileged and hard-to-reach areas, ensuring our technology is adaptable and easy to maintain with local resources, thus enhancing accessibility

Not yet, but we are working at it diligently.

We welcome partnerships that align with our mission of providing equitable, sustainable water solutions globally. Interested organizations can contact us through our inquiry form to discuss potential collaborations.

We engage in various partnerships, including technology development, research initiatives, corporate sponsorships, and community outreach programs. Each partnership is tailored to leverage our partners’ unique strengths and resources.

We particularly value skills in engineering, community development, foreign languages, sustainability studies and environmental science. However, anyone motivated to contribute towards water sustainability is encouraged to apply.

About Our Technology

Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) technology extracts moisture from the air and converts it into clean drinking water. This process involves condensing the moisture at a dew point and then purifying it to make it safe for consumption.

AWG Contracting’s proprietary cooling process is designed with scalability, energy efficiency, and a minimal carbon footprint in mind. The Moses West Foundation stands as the sole non-profit organization utilizing these systems for humanitarian purposes.

Our mission is to harness this technology to offer regions with limited or no access to clean water a significant opportunity to thrive.

The water produced by our deployed AWG units undergoes a rigorous testing process to meet and exceed globally recognized standards for drinking water set by bodies like the EPA and WHO.

The Moses West Foundation uses EPA Methods 533 and 537 to rigorously test for a comprehensive list of up to 29 per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), ensuring no detectable levels are present in our water. Method 533 targets shorter-chain PFAS compounds, while Method 537 addresses longer-chain perfluorinated alkyl acids. Our thorough testing ensures that the water from our AWG units not only meets but often exceeds the safety standards set by regulatory bodies like the EPA and WHO

Yes, the units are designed to be sustainable. They utilize renewable energy sources where possible and are engineered to operate with high energy efficiency, minimizing the footprint compared to traditional water supply methods.

Yes, we offer extensive customization for our AWG systems to meet various project scales and specific needs. We adapt the design and operation to local environmental conditions, integrate with renewable energy resources, and support existing water infrastructure.

This tailored approach helps us efficiently tackle the unique challenges and requirements of different regions, ensuring both optimal performance and sustainability

If you want to donate an AWG unit to support a community in need, please contact our operations team via our Contact Us page.

We will guide you through the process to ensure your contribution is deployed where it can have the most significant impact.

The AWG units are highly efficient, with energy usage values typically under 0.08 kWh per liter of water produced, depending on environmental conditions. These units produce significant quantities of water daily and are scalable based on their size and configuration to meet the community’s needs.

Yes, while our generators are capable of operating on 3 Phase 460 volt power from any source for flexibility, The Moses West Foundation uses renewable energy sources wherever possible to power them, aligning with our commitment to environmental sustainability.

For questions related to renewable energy components, please contact High Life Solutions at Info@HighLifeSolar.com.

The Moses West Foundation can facilitate water production of up to 500,000 gallons per day through our industrial water plant facilities, not just individual units.

These facilities are designed to harness atmospheric water generation technology on a large scale, serving extensive needs such as community supply, industrial applications, or emergency response situations.

The Moses West Foundation is actively addressing food deserts through the innovative use of containerized, off-grid solar-powered greenhouses that utilize Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) technology.

These greenhouses produce healthy, contaminant-free crops by directly generating clean atmospheric water. This sustainable approach provides fresh produce in areas lacking access to nutritious food, promotes self-sufficiency, and reduces the environmental impact of traditional farming, logistics, refrigerated storage, and water-sourcing methods.

Our vision is to fundamentally transform food production in underserved regions by harnessing the power of AWG technology in conjunction with solar-powered greenhouses. This innovative system guarantees a reliable water supply and creates ideal growing conditions, facilitating continuous crop production throughout the year, even in the most challenging climates.

By integrating these technologies, The Moses West Foundation is dedicated to converting barren landscapes into thriving agricultural centers, effectively combating food scarcity, bolstering economic resilience, and cultivating sustainable communities.

Yes, the technology is highly scalable, ranging from portable units for emergency use to larger installations supporting entire communities. These systems can be adapted to a variety of environments and community sizes.
